Our family daycares model allows us to welcome children of all ages.
Children aged 0 to 1 year.
Children aged 1 to 3 years.
Children aged 4 to 6 years.
Children over the age of 7 years.
The health and safety of your child are our top priority. That’s why we work exclusively with family daycares who meet our high standards for quality, hygiene, and safety. Nidino carefully screens and recruits each family daycare, visits their home in person, supports them through training, and continues to work closely with them throughout the childcare period.
Visit (non-binding and free)
The first step is a visit to the family daycare of your choice. This visit is for getting to know each other and is completely non-binding and free. Nidino staff will make every effort to be present during the visit.
Decision and online registration
Once you decide together with the family daycare to proceed with care for your child, you can register via the registration link. This link takes you to an online form where you provide all the information needed to create the childcare contract. The online registration serves as the official sign-up. The one-time registration fee is CHF 190 per child.
Childcare contract
As soon as we have received all required information from the online registration, we create the childcare contract between the family daycare, Nidino, and you (the parents). The contract is based on our General Terms and Conditions (AGB). You will then receive the contract online for signature.
Settling-in period and planning
To make the transition smooth for children and parents, you will work together with the family daycare to create an individual settling-in plan. For older children (school-aged, from 1st kindergarten), an official settling-in period is usually not required. You will also receive important information explaining why the settling-in period in a daycare family is so important.
Start of care
The start of childcare takes place according to the individual agreement.
