I am a warm, patient, and reliable person — I let children be children and freely explore their curiosity. Working with children brings me great joy: I love supporting their development, providing loving care, and assisting families in their daily lives.
My experience in childcare is extensive: I've been a nanny for 12 years, and since May 2025, I've also been a childcare assistant at Hort Thalwil, where I support children from kindergarten to 4th grade. However, I've learned the most as a mother to my own son (born November 2022) — I know firsthand what children truly need at different stages.
When working with children, I tailor my approach to each child, remaining calm and understanding. I place great importance on fostering independence and creating a sense of security. Organization, a strong sense of responsibility, and good cooperation with parents are particularly important to me.
I really enjoy cooking — and I love cooking even more with the children. Together, we knead dough, chop vegetables, and prepare simple, delicious meals: pasta with cream sauce, rice with butter and peas, chicken with salad. This way, the children learn incidentally where our food comes from — and they're visibly proud every time 'their' meal is served.
With 12 years of experience as a nanny and my work at Hort Thalwil, I know children from their first months as babies through to school age. I understand how diverse their needs are at each stage — from providing secure support for infants, fostering growing independence in toddlers, to supporting them as they start school — and I meet every child exactly where they are.
For me, working with children isn't just a job; it's a heartfelt dream I've been able to fulfill. I love witnessing their progress, playing and learning together, and making them laugh. Nothing makes me happier than seeing children's eyes light up and creating shared memories that last.
Respect, trust, honesty, safety, patience, and appreciation are the values that define my care. Every child should feel safe and secure with me — and have the space to develop authentically.
I live with my son (born November 2022) in a warm, family-oriented home. We speak German and Italian — multilingualism is a natural part of our daily life. Cohesion, respect, loving interaction, and mutual support are particularly important to us.
Together, we enjoy going on outings, spending a lot of time at the playground, doing crafts, reading books, and occasionally visiting the zoo.
Care takes place in our spacious 3.5-room apartment (67 m²) with a balcony. There's plenty of space here for playing, crafting, and romping around — and when we cook, the children happily join in: kneading dough, cutting vegetables, stirring, and tasting are all a natural part of our routine.
