I am a cheerful, sensitive and reliable person with many years of experience in childcare. Family and individual care is very important to me — a trusting relationship with the children and an honest, regular exchange with parents is particularly important to me. As a trained toddler teacher and childminder (since 2010), I have already been able to accompany and support many children. Between 2015 and 2022, we led an extended day care family with up to 10 childcare places per day — always within a manageable framework with a maximum of 5 children per caregiver. I am particularly inspired by STEP pedagogy, which has had a lasting impact on my pedagogical understanding and even motivated me to complete the STEP course instructor training.

Every day with kids is different — full of discoveries, laughs, and small miracles. Her openness, curiosity and desire to understand the world fascinate me time and time again. I see it as my job to accompany and support children on their journey so that they can grow up to be happy, self-confident and reliable people. For me, the best moments are when a child has learned something new, shares an aha moment or feels at home in a strong, trusting relationship.

I am married and learned the profession of a toddler teacher as a secondary school teacher. My husband supports me with a lot of heart — after work, he likes to take time for the day children, help build Lego or read out a story. Although we do not have any children of our own, since the amendment to the extended day family law, we have been involved as relief foster parents for two children, whom we support until they complete their initial education. We really enjoy family time together — as well as our couple time. In our free time, we like to meet friends and family, play, exchange ideas or go on trips into nature. And by November at the latest, my first vocation as a confectioner will be visible again — that's when our kitchen is transformed into a fragrant bakery.
